Great for kids! You must pay a visit to Eric the cow, be warned tho he does like to lick your face. Feeding the animals, grooming the ponies, feeding the baby lambs was loved by us all. The cafe food was nice, new cafe being built so bare with them. Kids also liked the bouncy castle and ball pool. Pony rides are £2 per child which is a very fair price and don't miss the session where you can get to find out all about the animals. Nearly forgot to mention the outdoor play areas and there's also a small sandpit in one of the outbuildings. We spent all day here and was not disappointed! Ignore the negative comments about nothing being there, animals will be animals if they want to hide at the far end of the field then they will. £20 for a family of 4 for a full day out is a bargain!
This is the best open farm we have been to with a good variety of animals. They have a timetable of events including horse riding, feeding the animals and the animal show with tanoy announcements so you don't miss out. It has 2 outdoor play areas and an indoor bouncy castle and huge ball pit.
What a fantastic day out me and my family loved it all staff polite and helpful. Just a bit of advice if your planning on staying nearby and have a family you will be much better of staying at Cala gran plz read my experience with partingtons broadwater caravan park. Shocking treatment suffered towards me my wife and children from staff & The parks manager at partingtons Broadwater if you like to walk round with a zip on your mouth and let staff walk all over you then this is the park for you. If you have children plz plz plz do not consider this park you will regret it. I would not want another family to be treated like we have. All my children are polite and very well behaved. Residents on the site have commented on how well mannered they all are and they are all very well liked . How is it right that a staff member can say to my 12yr old son GET OUT OF HERE WE DON'T SERVE PEOPLE LIKE YOU for no reason what's so ever. My 11yr old daughter shouted at to get out of the play area. And then to top it all the parks manager Paul ward refusing to let my 2yr old baby girl Maisy say goodbye to the parks mascot grunty the dinosaur how heartless is that can only hope his wife is disgusted with him she loved Maisy Tried to get in touch with the parks directors to arrange a meeting just to let them no how me and my family have been treated by there employees at broadwater. And have both turned a meeting with me and family down this is very disappointing and just goes to sure what kind of people the directors really are.
Great farm with plenty of friendly animals, also a museum. Cafe that serves decent breakfast at reasonable prices too
This is basically a petting farm with a big selection of animals and some chickens. There is also a museum with old domestic appliances and televisions on view. There is also a selection of farming machinery and steam rollers. My granddaughter thought it funny to see the sizes of tv screens, semi automatic washing machines and telephone kiosks. When you want a rest there's a cafe with a good selection of drinks and bites to eat. Recommended
