  • This is not just an animal farm. It is set out inside with loads of old things from the past. You could spend about 2 hours looking round everything.  more »

  • Great for kids! You must pay a visit to Eric the cow, be warned tho he does like to lick your face. Feeding the animals, grooming the ponies, feeding the baby lambs was loved by us all. The cafe food was nice, new cafe being built so bare with them. Kids also liked the bouncy castle and ball pool. Pony rides are £2 per child which is a very fair price and don't miss the session where you can get to find out all about the animals. Nearly forgot to mention the outdoor play areas and there's also a small sandpit in one of the outbuildings. We spent all day here and was not disappointed! Ignore the negative comments about nothing being there, animals will be animals if they want to hide at the far end of the field then they will. £20 for a family of 4 for a full day out is a bargain!
  • This is basically a petting farm with a big selection of animals and some chickens. There is also a museum with old domestic appliances and televisions on view. There is also a selection of farming machinery and steam rollers. My granddaughter thought it funny to see the sizes of tv screens, semi automatic washing machines and telephone kiosks. When you want a rest there's a cafe with a good selection of drinks and bites to eat. Recommended
  • great place to spend a day with your kids. Plenty of animals, petting zoo, horse rides, indoor and outdoor play areas, quite an impressive collection at a small museum (!), caffe and picnic area. Me and my daughter, 4, loved it!
  • Parr's animal farm is an excellent day out for the whole family. The staff are friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. There is a lovely cafe (new one under construction) and a fascinating museum of local interest, including an old Fleetwood tram! There are lots of different animals, some available for petting and grooming and lots of interesting facts the kids (and adults) will love. The Father Christmas is the most authentic I have ever seen and you can either buy gifts and photos or bring your own - no captive selling here (you can also bring your own picnic and eat it in the picnic and children's play area). They also work in conjunction with the autistic society. All that and incredibly good value too.
  • Really good place to take your kids just finished easter egg hunt really pleased definitely going back sometime in year thanks to all the staff
