  • If you like your history then this place is for you. The provided audio tour was good, provided lots of information without being overly boring. The sheer amount of history in once place was staggering. I especially enjoyed the fact that you could look into the various rooms and that some of them had props setup.
  • Free for disabled. Audio books are great tell you all about the fort.. fantastic views.. lovely little gift shop.. stop off at the beach and have a slice of cake and cup of tea..great day out
  • Friendly welcome at the front desk. The free audio guide is strongly recommended because it adds enormously to the experience, a really worthwhile and informative visit.
  • Visited for a Ghost hunt. Well kept buildings but doesn't appear to be very haunted.
  • Definitely worth visiting this museum friendly staff full of knowledge and history
