  • Yes, I’m giving Birdworld the bird. We have known it for decades and frankly, it is not as good as it was years ago and a big change is in the price: a whopping charge of £49.95 for two adults and two...  more »
  • It's always crowded here during school holidays, but it's good for children of most ages. Sadly this visit I noticed that some of the birds seemed very stressed. All was not well on the bird front.......  more »

  • Good place with lot of bird species from domestic ducks to Pelicans , Fleming, Emu, variety of parrots, Kiwi, fish aquarium with rare and near extinction fish species, couple of alligators, a turtles family and many varieties of Owl. We enjoyed throughly going around. The best part of the visit is to fed the birds. Most attractions elsewhere do not allow to feed animals. They also have a cage with lovebirds where visitors can enter and can touch and feed them. They also have a small farm with hens, chickens, rabbit. The main attraction is Reindeer. There is a garden restaurant Adjacent to bird world with decent hot food choice. All in all an enjoyable day out. You may not full day but there are plenty to cover. You may get bored after watching few cages.
  • We loved Birdworld. Perfect day out for the whole family. Some really beautiful birds there. Loved the owls in particular. The playgrounds are great for kids, and the whole park is arranged nicely with flowers and other plants. Enough toilets around the place too, and parking is easy. Staff is friendly and even the gift shop is nice! Would definitely recommend.
  • It's improved a great deal since we went four years ago. There's more enclosures and it all seems well kept. The aquarium part however clearly gets no funding and is in desperate need of renovation. Overall a good day out
  • Great place for family day out. Interesting animals, good food and hot chocolate. Two playgrounds. And they have 🐰 , guinnie pigs and 🐔 for sale.
  • We loved every minute of our visit. The birds are amazing, the grounds are lovingly kept up, the play parks are good fun and the petting farm had loads of friendly animals. All the staff were knowledgeable and friendly Michael gave a great talk and demo with some amazing birds. Kayleigh drove the road train and the lovely Jenny was on the ticket desk. Thanks for a brilliant day out.
