  • This bay and beach is well run by a local family and is an ideal place for small children and families to play and relax. The cafe is excellent and crazy golf is just across the road.
  • Came here for a university field trip, where we had a walk around the lake and on the beach. The beach itself is clean and pleasant, and was pretty empty when we were there (maybe four or five other s...  more »
  • Lovely beach. Gets quite full in summer. Brilliant cornish ice creams and great value for the sizes. Plenty of parking and nearby toilets just incase

  • Great place to go for a sea side stay. Has the best ice cream in the café. highly recommend if you go with family.
  • Very nice example of a cornish beach. Tends to get busy but the parking availability is great and the cafe on the beach is decent. There's a few good rock pools on either side of the beach worth exploring too. The walk to ghylly beach is also nice.
  • Great experience, decent prices for the kayak hire! Spent the summer down in Falmouth, with my husband to attend Cornwall's music festivals. We regularly visited Swanpool, as well as the other beaches around, I would highly recommend. Only problem is an old gentleman (seemed like he was in charge) regularly abused customers by swearing at them, to the extent where he was shouting at children, and harassing his staff!!! Apart from this a really good place to enjoy the afternoon :DX
  • Café serves tasty panini and interesting ice cream (liquorice all sorts, jelly baby ... ) Beach is pebble. Nice little place to paddle round in kayak. (Can be hired)
  • Fantastic little beach, Car park across the road £2.50 all day and loads of room. Toilets next to car park and little beach cafe. Kayaks can be hired for £10 an hour and there are rock pools when the tide is right. Not a sandy beach but lovely for families. Everything you need for a day at the beach is here.
