  • In the garden you can easily spend half a day-just exploring all its nooks and crannies. We were there in the autumn and it was beautiful, but we want to go back in the spring and summer, when Glade bells and other colors must be simply delicious!

  • A real gem. The gardens and the maze are beautiful but the whole area around really worth a visit I definitely recommend to go!
  • Beautiful, long garden in a valley towards Hellford River. Highlights include the labyrinth and the old fishing village on the river. We were already several times there, the garden is worth, particularly interesting a visit in winter and Easter we found talks about the history of the fishing industry with the volunteers in a building in the old village.

  • Lovely well maintained gardens with a maze. Very similar to Trebah Gardens which is next door but this is "National Trust" so free to enter if your a member. Lots of walking, sometimes quite a steep incline but plenty of seats to have a rest and catch your breath and admire the scenery.
  • Another easy choice for NT members, and worth the money for non-members too. A maze, water, tree ferns, great views, Durgan village at the bottom. For more exercise, take a left turn at the bottom and follow the coast path around to Rosemullion Head with views across Falmouth bay to St. Anthony lighthouse, then back via Mawnan Smith.
  • A great place out for the day with extremely scenic walks and will also keep children occupied for the day. It can get busy so it's sometimes worth going early!
  • A beautiful place whatever the weather. Nice walk down to the river
  • Beautiful gardens any time of year, and walks along the Helford.
