  • It was nice to see these beautiful structures up close. The grounds around them are nice and it is interesting to see how the locks on the canals have been interwoven around the Kelpies themselves. Th...  read more »
  • I wasnt expecting these sculptures to be this big but.... wow !!!! Absoutely stunning and against a moody Scottish sky the effect was outstanding
  • It is impossible not to fall in love with Andy Scott's Kelpies. These giant sculptures of horses heads are beautiful and impressive... and obviously huge. Worth checking them out during sunset... and then waiting for the night lights to illuminate them. Lovely visitor centre and staff
  • The helix park is great, the only real problem being its popularity. The Kelpies are a sight to behold and you can go right up and touch them without paying a thing. There is a visitor centre and there are tours inside the Kelpies available at a fee. The wider Helix park has some nice walks and opportunities for cycling. There are also several adventure playparks all connected which have areas to challenge even older children. Parking can be difficult. There is a paid carpark up near the Kelpies as well as a free car park (often full) just on the entry road. On non-match days there is parking at Falkirk Stadium but many people jus tuse the verges and surrounding roads for parking.
  • Giant beautiful sculpture. If you only want to take some photos of the horas you dont need to pay. Just go there early, stop on the car Park and walk a bit.
  • A nice park with a play ground for kids, the lake is a nice addition and has a pebble beach alond one side.
  • The Kelpies are amazing. Truly breathtakingly good and definitely worth a visit if you're in the area, worth the ¬£2 parking charge.
