This was our first visit to Pensthorpe & WOW !! We spent a full day there much to our Suprise !! Being OAP's there were lots of seats to sit & enjoy the glorious birds & gardens. Didn't quite make every corner but give this reserve a go, one of the best we have visited. Very educational for children.
Really lovely nature reserve with something for everybody. If you're into plants, flowers, birds, bugs, swings and slides, flamingos, cream tea, a safari or just a lovely walk in a beautiful setting, then this place is perfect! Well managed and respectful to the various habitats featured. Definitely one to regularly frequent to see how the park changes with each season.
Love this place. Can't believe I've not been more often but we will do. Wildlife for everyone and the new indoor kids area is fantastic x
Really enjoyed my visit. Expensive but worth the money. Wouldn't recommend the Cafe in the soft play building food was horrible and a huge rip off. But an amazing place for photography with great staff!
I live only a few miles from Pensthorpe. If like me, you like photography and loverly places in Norfolk. Don't miss this one. It's just a photographers dream. Birds, butterflies, flowers, landscapes, insects. What more could a photographer ask for. Late spring, early summer, is stunning in the park. I also like to go here, when it's been snowing hard or a deep frost. You can walk nearly all day, to cover the whole of the park. So good walking boots or sensible shoes, if you want to do a lot of walking. All paths are very easy to walk, and well maintained. Play areas for children are also great. Lots for children to do. This place is natures heaven in Norfolk.
