Do not be fooled by the name. There are no daisies, nooks or countries in the this park. The 3 mini ponds are camouflaged by algae. The 2 exciting adventure playgrounds are neither exciting nor advent...  more »

  • Excellent for a free or cheap day out! Great for all the family (including the dog!) as there is a cafe, toilets, free parking, play area, woodland and canal side walks with space for riding bikes too. Daisy Nook Country Park is a great place for waling and adventuring all year round (bring wellies or boots for winter or wet days as it can be a bit muddy in places) with lots of benches and grass for picnics. The cafe is also reasonably priced with indoor seating too.
  • Brilliant, natural country park. Lots of different walks - if you choose to explore them. Great walks by the river, feed the ducks on the canal. 2 play areas, the 2nd one being revamped so it's going to be much improved. Good coffee/snack area with inside cafe. Staff v friendly. Busy on sunny days, but mainly the first play area with kids and then it's fine. Never had any problems with dogs in the play area, and I've lived here 8 years, so can only be a random occasion that a previous reviewer experienced.
  • Grew up with Daisy nook as my back garden, practically lived there as a kid. It's great for fishing, nature trails, biking and walking the dog. Fun for all the family. The kids play area could do with a boost though
  • Buggy friendly paths, an amazing adventure playground for the little ones and a fab "Tots barge," sand play area. Beautiful on a dry day!
  • Beautiful place to walk with the family, there is two great playgrounds, streams to paddle in, woodland to explore, ducks to feed, if they have a good imagination you could be here all day! I particularly like it in autumn and summer, there are free carparks but if its a busy day you won't get parked
