  • Very interesting place, educational. Great for school trips and taking your children and Grandchildren. I visited it with my grandchildren, they loved it.

  • Remember visiting this place when i was a kid and enjoying it then. A visit too many years to admit later on and i wasn't disappointed. Not the largest monument you'll visit but it is what it is, a Roman Villa. Well preserved with a lot of interesting exhibits, well worth a visit (or re-visit).
  • Nice historic location. Lovely little river to paddle in. Gift shop has a good selection of local ciders, beers and wines. Entry is a bit steep though.
  • An excellent, well preserved Roman Villa. The tour is short (about half an hour), but the surrounding area (including an old Roman aqueduct, now part of the train line) is lovely.
  • A well excavated villa, full of interesting artifacts. Back in 100AD, this villa had under floor heating, as well as in-room heating as well as a full spa. A few human remains, will always delight the interested traveler.
  • Worth the visit, and costs only 2.5£!
