  • Really nice here a flat short walk up and down the river and see Lullingstone castle. There is a massive steep hill I assume turns into a trail but I didn't have the strength to walk it with 2 small c...  more »

  • Lovely area for walking. Woodland, meadows, and the river Darent. Nice little visitors centre with cafe, gift shop and toilets. Different length walks to suit all levels of fitness. Reasonable sized car park. Some interesting carvings on the discovery walk. Nice views across the valley.
  • Lovely open space with river and rolling hillsides. Excellent visitor centre and cafe. Ooh, and clean toilets. What could be more civilised? Love it here.
  • Scenic spot in the Darent Valley, great for walking or cycling. The cafĂ© has a good range of cakes as well as the usual sandwiches and hot/cold drinks.
  • Been walking here for years love it when the poppys appear as the field looks amazing there's a play park for the kids water bowls for your dogs the visitor center has cakes and nibbles, parking is now paid but sometimes spaces can be found to park elsewhere. There are lots of different walks with hidden areas with picnic tables etc There is also a hidden zipline in the woods which i admit i may have been on a few times lol The river has a lovely (tho sometimes very muddy) path following it and some cut out benches to sit on if you need that quick breather (infact benches are all over the place )
  • We have been coming here for walks with the kids and dog for years. It is fabulous anytime of year! We collect conkers in autumn, paddle in the stream in summer and go on the bug trail any time of year! We have recently found the zip wire too!! All this fun can be finished off with a cuppa in the cafe!
