  • It's really nice to see a smaller place in the National Trust as it seems more personal with the family living in it up until about 4 years ago. One of the guides did say that from next year it is goi...  more »
  • The hall is run by the National Trust and the family is returning next year. This really makes the old hall feel like a home and adds another dimension to the usual National Trust properties. Voluntee...  more »

  • Lovely house and garden. The Guides are very knowledgeable. Currently rented to the National Trust by the Wright Family who have owned the house for 11 generations. We were told that the current Wrights are moving back to the house next year so the National Trust will not be running tours any more. Look out for the etchings on the glass in the windows. Some have been scribed by the Wright family themselves.
  • Beautiful cosy house in the delightful village of Eyam. The national trust has done a great job assisting this home. It will be out of their hands in December but open to public privately in February/March. Great village to walk around with so much plague history
  • Wonderful manor house situated in the heart of the village. National trust volunteers here were so knowledgeable and helpful. Pity the Trust's tenure of this property will end soon. Go to see it while you can!
  • Eyam Hall and gardens are relatively small yet fascinating history provided by the wonderful NT volunteers. Parking is limited. Eyam is also a beautiful village with lots of points of interest and history, especially enjoyed the guided tour which i highly recommend. Will go back again to do more of the many walks around the area.
  • Beautiful place. Full of character. National Trust staff were very informative. Worth a visit
