Soak in the sun on the sandy shores of South England’s Exmouth Beach. Harbored by the coastal village of Exmouth, the beach offers a perfect site for sunning and sporting, with impressive views of the estuary and Jurassic coast. At the town end of the beach, you can find a number of cafes, restaurants, and shops, as well as accommodations. Spend the day building sand castles, or venture down one of the many coastal hiking trails before finishing up with a meal at a local pub. Visit the beach at low tide for some great sea creature sightings in the rock pools. Exmouth Beach reviews
Nice evenings fishing with my man Didn’t catch anything but had a lovely portion of fish and chips afterwards more »
Thursday 25th March and we visited the seaside town of Exmouth and its beach (allowable with Government COVID rules). The beach is a glorious 2 mile stretch of golden sand, along the South West... more »
Problem is that you will be close to a quite dangerous current flow much of the time even though the beach is sandy. Allowing kids into the water can be risky. more »
Fantastic long level walk on the beach or alongside on the walkway. Very social for winter dog walkers, coffee shops also. Wonderful.
Lovely destination for a brisk walk. Wrap up warm as it is breezy. Fantastic breakfast at the Aby cafe. We obviously went out of season but great fun just walking along the sea front
A long sandy beach, dogs allowed in winter. Some areas less safe for swimming. Various cafés and takeaway options on seafront, even right at the far end.
Exmouth beach has to be one of the best around in the area & is very popular with early morning dog walkers.
Came here for a walk and lunch during December Easy access and parking - we parked closer to the town and walked all the way to the cliffs. There is a lot of work and building done to make the place As attractive as possible but still with the ‘open’ feel as you walk along the promenade. The front and the beach is generally clean with good rubbish and recycling bins everywhere and not full. There’s good space to keep your Covid distance but still some people ignorant to doing so and respecting others. Nice places to snack and eat or shop along the way and very beautiful views across the bay. Fully recommend
