  • We visited this lovely place it’s an amazing sixteen sided house dating back to 1796 and built for Jane and Mary Parminter her we’re cousins. They certainly had it built in a lovely place with panoramic views across the River Exe,on a clear day you can see for miles. This unique building was set in 20 acres but parts of the land were sold to keep hold of the ownership.......This couple certainly love collecting their seashells from every part of the world and as you will see there are displays of them in almost every room, some have been made into lovely works of art as you will see in my photographs. With lots of other interesting artefacts this place is well worth a look around.......With a lovely on site cafe with plenty on the menu indoor and outdoor seating plus a gift shop and second hand book shop it makes a great few hours in a beautiful part of Devon a must do.👍 ❤️ X
  • Brilliant place to stop over on a long journey. Forget services on the motorway. A la Ronde gives you chance to relax with a great view. Never had a bad visit.
  • Built in as a cylinder so the sun followed you around as you go through your day. Excellent, inforative staff. Great location for a walk during the COVID19.
  • Awesome day. Sun was shining so it was a very pleasant walk around the grounds, meadow. The grasshoppers and butterflies were out in force which was a nice experience for the kids. The house wasn't open due to covid 19 but I have been there before and it is a site to behold. Worth a visit.
  • Amazing place. Great social distancing measures and lovely lady on the door. Highly recommended.
