  • I love the way Northernhay looks and feels, it's a true gem within the city centre of Exeter. There's many historical monuments and statues within the park and it has a real sense of city based garden. The thing that let's it down is the abundance of homeless people drinking in the park and smoking dope. I fear that this is a park based in town where the select few brave enough to take drugs in public flock to. There's often a great deal of students walking in and around the park and gardens too, sometimes loud and obnoxiously shouting. I feel the Gardens would benefit from a form of security guard, watchman or a basic patrol in place.
  • An amazing city garden, sometimes tranquil with beautiful views. Unfortunately neglected. Needles, condoms, bottles, litter are often seen. The council should seriously think about employing more care takers . A noticeable lack of gardening done. Reinstate the band stand, giving it over to local performing arts. Come on Exeter Council this should be one of Exeters pride and joys ,go on show off. PS to much weed smoking goes on in Northerhay Gardens.
  • Exeter festival of South West food and drink 2018 on a beautiful hot, sunny day! Good food, good drink and good company.
  • I was here in winter so there was no colour from flowers but you can see how nice this place would be in summer. Thete are numerous paths along the old city wall which are interesting. The only down side is that there are homeless people in the park and the occasional out of control teenager.
  • Nice park to walk around and avoid the crowds in the high street. If you like to get blazed, then just ask any of the suspiciously guilty looking teenagers who come here to do the same thing if they have any spare.
