We have been here a few times and visited again this summer to do the Gruffalo trail with our two sons and two nephews (aged 0-3). The forest is a wonderful large space to run around in - we spend as ...  more »

  • Superb high ropes course. Expensive but superb staff and instruction. Suitable for over 10 years / 1.4m tall. Be aware - parking isn't cheap and is coin only. Take £7 with you to be safe. Go Ape is the opposite side of the car park to everything else.
  • A great experience as always and I have been here a few time before over the years. The guide Max was super helpful, he noticed the protrusion of my ileostomy bag under my shirt (which I completely forgot might be an issue) and offered me a different harness to help and cause less discomfort. He was kind courteous and kept it as discreet as to not embarrass myself. A great adventure in the trees.....a highly recommended experience for anyone who hasn't done it before or others who have been to different sites. The Tarzan swing and multiple zip wires at haldon forest make it a great site to go
  • A great day out. Staff were very helpful & pleasant especially Jonathan who did a fine job on showing us what to do.
  • A fantastic day out for all ages and all fitness levels! My sister is scared of heights yet really let herself go and enjoyed the day. There are various obstacles to go through in this tree top adventure, beginners to more challenging walkways and ladders. Swings and ziplines. The larger ziplines are incredible and a lot of fun, spectacular views so make sure you strap an adventure camera onto your chest or arm! The staff are always on hand to applaud you and give support wherever you need it. The beginner course teaches you how to use the equipment and is a lot of fun. This course overall took over two hours. Even in Autumn it's a great experience
  • Very health and safety conscious, which adds to the enjoyment. Went at a quiet time and the staff allowed us to go around twice. Definitely recommended.
