  • I saw, in a local magazine, about a Russian Christmas fayre happening at the Guildhall. It was only happening because Exeter is twinned with Yaroslavl. I'd been to the Guildhall a few times beforehand...  more »
  • Came here with the excursion, it is striking that the building of more than 800 years. 2 on the ground floor there is a small Museum (1 cabinet with exhibits). The building is still actively used. When we got there was a charity tea party.

  • The guildhall is a pretty good place to go shopping. There are also refreshments availbale in the centre and sometimes near whsmiths
  • Wonderful public building. Right in heart of the town.
  • One of the oldest buildings in Exeter and the oldest guildhall building in use in England. Extensively changed over the years inside, around the back you can still see the old prison cells.
