  • Nice place to waste a afternoon away watching the world drift by was a bit cold today put some music on and watch the boats
  • Great to walk along the beach, or for the kids to play in the play ground. Turn left from the car park and walk to the sites of the D-day landings prep - its very interesting and it took us many years...  read more »
  • We came to see the views, however the minimum stay in the car park costs over £2 at all times. Be aware that the parking gate is locked at 7pm. Got some good pictures and although it was windy it was ...  read more »
  • Fantastic open space, with a good, varied, play area suitable for young and older children. The cold war observation post is fascinating. The cafe is good (although not very cheap). The beach is pebbly and quite small but very good for water sports like wind and kite surfing (just be aware the tide goes out a long way). Parking is reasonable though you have to go a lot to make a season ticket worthwhile.
  • Lepe country park is an excellent place to visit if you are would like parkland for picnics and game's, children's play area, cafe and facilities, windsurfing paddle boarding, beach walk's and history, this along with beautiful views over the Solent and Isle of Wight. Something for everyone well worth visiting.
  • Great place to go with the family. You can have a swim in the summer, a nice walk in the winter or play in the park/field all year round. Food available in a little cafe in the car park isn't bad but I would try not to depend on it.
  • Excellent beach to visit if you in the new forest national park. Loads of parking at a reasonable price. Good beach to visit with young kids as access is easy and very short walk from car park.
  • Amazing views of the solent! You can see Cowes on the Isle of Wight and even the spinaker tower in Portsmouth on a good day. There is a lovely walk along the beach, a little old lighthouse and it's great for collecting shells and mini crabs when the tide goes out. There is a lovely wide grassy area where you can play ball or even bbq and the most wonderful play area for children. There is also a reasonably priced cafe that sells not only food but little seaside trinkets. Their hot chocolate is great when it's cold and cheesy chips are great whatever the weather!
