A few different footpaths that lead you across a small section of the new Forrest and the coast. There are sections of beach and sections where the New Forrest Ponies are encouraged to roam. A lot of ...  more »

Busy country park with a big car park. Even though the centre has a hectic feel you can soon get away from it, with great walking into the wooded areas and meadows or by the sea and along the coast. T...  more »

  • Best time early morning you will have the beach to myself, nice little cafe, somewhere for the kids with play area in the upper carpark, great place to walk or picnic, historic area with d day. And the sea gin clear.
  • Brilliant beach with lovely nature walks nearby. Cafe and toilets available. There is a playground for children. Along the beach are remains from D-day.
  • Great place to chill and gather ur thoughts. Long walks along the stony beach. Can get crowded. At least it has cafe
  • Great for family walks and chill out time on your own. A little cafe on site for those who forgot to pack sandwiches, great food and drinks provided accompanied with good service. Perfect for those like myself with a creative eye photography opportunities are endless
  • Gorgeous views from this beach. Good cafe (shuts earlier than you'd think so double check before you arrive), a good long stretch of beach to walk on - sandy enough to build some castles. Part of the beach is dog friendly all year, with the sandy part being closed to dogs over the summer. Just up from the cafe is a fab outdoor child play area and there is a barbecue area for parties etc.
