  • good museum only been there once but I thought it was free but had to pay/
  • Visited on a dank January morning and received the warmest of welcomes from all the volunteer staff. The museum is housed in a glorious timber-framed building which is very well preserved. There are lots of rooms with just the right amount of curiosities, including a model of mediaeval Evesham that I remember from my childhood and an Abbot's chair covered with carved creatures. There is a prettily laid-out formal garden as well, for sitting out on warmer days. I will definitely go back.
