It was fun, of course, British women have nothing in common with the Portuguese, so I cannot criticize, only cultural behaviors are completely antagonistic. Start drinking soon by 9 A.M. when they arrive, was a cold to die, but I don't care for anything because I was supposed to go dressed in summer. In addition more naked than dressed up because it was an event, very very Hat adornment, is too jump completely buried in the grass. That said, for me it was a huge fun, not only for the race itself, but more by the scenario. I loved it and I want to repeat, but preferably dressed the precept, that to me in another record.show original

Visited epsom for a carvery package on sunday you get a two course lunch and a table for the days racing, the carvery was brilliant would defo go back again, only downside was the prosseco was warm.
Derby Day without a doubt plays second fiddle to Royal Ascot in terms of sophistication and sense of occasion. Neither the standards of dress nor the service are as sharp, and the food options in and around the Queen's Stand were very limited. However, if you're determined to have an opportunity to wear a top hat and morning dress to the races and don't know anyone who can invite you into the Royal Enclosure at Ascot then this is your only other option.
Lovely views. Good walks ranging from long to short. Great for dogs and/or children. Nice area for picnics. Surrounded by 3 pubs for a nice after walk drink/food. Apart from Derby it's never too busy.
Went to the races and to see The Corrs and had a great evening of vetting and entertainment. The facilities were good as was the fish and chips would recommend this to anyone.

Use to be good in the seventies. The fair side was all free. Use to run the derby on a Wednesday. To commercialised now. All about the money. If you have never been racing, do go and experiance it.
Really good Epsom Derby event in a marquee for a friends birthday. Well organised, decent food & our awesome waiter Alfie! :-)
