  • My elderly parents and I visited on a wet Wednesday, but still enjoyed ourselves. The rain held off long enough for us to enjoy walking around the gardens and seeing all the plants. We then browsed th...  more »
  • A pretty garden which is well-stocked and well looked after but it is very small - you'd struggle to spend a couple of hours looking around, more like one hour. At £10.50 each this is poor value for m...  more »

  • I´m a german tourist and I don`t know where some of the people have been that have written before me, but I give 4 stars because it´s a nice place to go for a walk around. Offcosre You can walk around in der Great Park but in the gardens You have everything compressed. Offcorse it cost money but it is a lot off work to keep it like it is. Offcorse You can walk around in 20 minutes but also You can leave Your self time. The food, cake an drinks are ok and the prices are ok aswell. We had kind staff and we waitet about for 5 minutes to get our coffee served. I think I know why the drinks are served, because a lot of people dion`t know to behave therself. Thanks for a nice afternoon.
  • Terrible refurbishment, think aspiring pub on a new estate. Service system is chaotic, you need a table to get a coffee. Trying do that on your own. Rethink required.
  • Beautiful gardens and some of the many roses for sale in the shop. Restaurant could be better, no menus on tables and sausage and mash without any greens is a bit poor. Recommend a visit but bring your own food.
  • We visited on a sunny Sunday at 2pm. Most of the seats were taken, but the service was still chaotic and I waited 15 minutes for a cup of tea. The food is not cheap, so it was disappointing when a haloumi & corgette kebab took 20 minutes to cook (on the terrace BBQ) and arrived looking like it had been thrown into a hot-dog bun.
  • It is beautiful and clean but very disappointing for the size. You can roam around in the whole park in just 20 minutes. And there is nothing special in there. I do not understand why they have tickets to enter there when the whole Virginia Waters park is free to enjoy. I went yo the paid gardens to see flower festival which was advertised everywhere from April to 31st May. We went on the 25th May and there were no flowers at all. Money to waste :(
