  • A well kept Derby council run outdoor space. Grade 2 listed gardens. We visited in autumn and the trees were in full colour.
  • A really great place to visit. Lovely scenery - including wooded areas, gardens, a lake and the castle itself. There is also a good playground for children. Parking charges are very reasonable too.
  • Love walking here, nice long walk around the grounds and even a nature reserve. Card parking machines sometimes don't work so have change just incase.
  • Fantastic place to visit...been coming for years since was young.great for a picnic in summer or walks or walking dogs...feed the birds.grounds are just as stunning as the castle.
  • Absolutely love this park and would highly recommend it. Great for family days out and there is so much to see and walk round. The council are putting a lot into it. There is a nature reserve, open days for the Gothic hall, stargazing evenings, playing fields, the Norman church (with English civil war musket marks in the wall!) Etc etc. Love it.
