  • Beautiful day to walk through the woods around the reservoir. Wish we'd had time for a hot drink too. Plenty of parking. It's £4.50 though compared to some places you don't pay to park e.g. Ashridge.
  • I used to come here with my family as I was growing up so the place holds many fond memories for me. My 3-year old son and I have now visited a few times over the past three years and we are never dis...  more »

  • Dog walking heaven. Parks for the kids. Petting zoo. Large lake.
  • Scenic area with activities for kids (monkey nets, activity playground and farmyard zoo) and chill out areas for picnics. Lots of areas for walks and cycling.
  • Beautiful place. We had a wonderful time feeding the animals, riding pony, visiting winnie the pooh 100 aker wood, having a lovely picnic, enjoying the children's playground and the lovely view of the lake
  • Lovely place for a day out. Monkey Nets in the Woodlands are great. Good support by the staff. The walk around the lake and in the woods is great. Look out for the rabbits :-)
  • Kids had a great time. HOWEVER, toilets are utterly disgusting, the worst I have ever seen. The food provision was hugely inadequate with most of the "menu" unavailable during lunchtime (and during half term!), hugely overpriced items in terms of drinks, snacks, ice cream. Charges prohibitive for farm and horse riding. However, our two kids played for hours on the nets, we had no idea we were supposed to pay for them, they were unsupervised and nobody told us otherwise and there was nothing to suggest a payment was required. We only realised due to other reviews! Pooh walk was lovely, really pretty and enjoyable. Advice? Take a picnic, anti bac wipes and gel in terms of toilets and be clear that there are very few people around to offer help or directions. Car park is also very over-priced. The park, however, is stunningly beautiful and it is very much worth a visit for the amazing woodland, lake and wildlife.
