  • Great museum about life on the canals. Friendly staff in the café . Take a picnic and enjoy a good day out with the family. Have a good collection of engines , and muse on how they got the boats in to first floor of the museum!
  • Decent canal museum with various buildings housing different aspects of canal life. The café does good food and is clean as well.
  • Nice afternoon out. Interesting displays and option board some boats.
  • Excellent fun. My two sons 5 and 7 loved it as did Grandad. My daughter, my mother and I liked the boat trip best. Lovely food in cafe too and staff all friendly.
  • Informative volanteer staff. Exellent displays. Boat trip was brill. Very moving story about Jose his wife and dolly their horse. Worth the trip from Dorset.
