  • Spynie palace a brooding monument with a twisted layered past. Many bishops , corrupt and otherwise resided as did ' The Wolf of Badenoch'. A illegitimate son on King Robert ll ,who terrorised the Moray , an evil corrupt villain . By chance the curate told me he had also resided at Spynie Palace. Beautiful setting and great staff this is a must visit place in Moray.
  • Very impressive palace of the local bishops back in medieval times. It may be just a ruin, but what a ruin! it is huge and still today it is easy to tell how grand the whole building must have been in its most splendorous times. Very much worth a visit.
  • Awesome view
