  • Lovely beautiful garden filled with apple trees. However, it's not easy to find and the road entrance Google map suggested was shown as a private road. Also, the plants are overpriced. For example, a small pot of Japanese maple is priced at 14.99. Furthermore, we were asked to pay 2.5 pounds per person the moment when we stepped inside the garden without knowing that the nursery section is free of charge.
  • Top, top nursery set in a fabulous walled garden. There's a high quality range of plants to be had here with some excellent geraniums and other herbaceous plants. Proper nursery. Very nice cafe in the adjacent building. Interesting artists in residence in the barn too. Great afternoon out.
  • Brilliant selection of plants, all well grown and filling their pots. Trees and shrubs too, similarly well grown and looking healthy. Tea room within 30 feet. Lovely place for plant hunters.
  • Pleasant wander around the garden trail which includes the nursery where there is an extensive choice of perennials, fruit trees, etc., all in very good condition. Honesty box for the trail but entry to the nursery is free. Also coffee & gift shops on site.
  • A great place to go. Wonderful plants. Great value for money.
