  • Excellent and underrated Gem from Historic Scotland - Opens in Summer Only, and WELL worth a visit. Has a couple of picnic tables and a great bit lawn to the outside if you've got kids who need to have a run about.
  • We almost blew past this place on the way to Aberdeen. We were very glad we didn't. The garden was really peaceful and blooming with color. And they had peacocks - well peacocks, peahens and some chicks as well.
  • Great Castle, but gardens are a definate reason for visiting on their own. Great staff. Very atmospheric.
  • Visited several times over the years. Home of some of my Lindsay grandfathers. Like others, this castle suffered most from being stripped by the York Building Co. and local dismemberment. Joseph Lindsay Haley III Esq.
