  • We had a lively few hours all wrapped up following the gruffalo trial. Lots to do here! The older children (and adults) of the group enjoyed a 'go ape' session whilst the others relaxed with a coffee!...  more »
  • You have to pay yo park, but it is reasonable. There is bike hire, go ape, segways, and a cafe. Visitor centre never have any maps!! Cycle trails take much longer than the shop suggest if you are not ...  more »

  • Absolutely ace, brilliant trails and all the amenities you'll need. Great for the kids too.
  • Love this place, you can cycle or walk around the forest & be in total peace . Plenty of space for BMW's weather permitting..
  • Really lovely area, grassy areas in the woods for picnics, high ropes access, bike hire (which could do with opening later) and some really great single track riding. Red trip has been updated due to logging, and the new trails are fantastic, fast, smooth and lots of fun!
  • A great forestry commission site, a new toilet block last year has really helped improve the facilities. The local cycle shop is a touch pricey but useful if you need it.
  • What a fantastic place with plenty of activities for anyone: cycling (from well laid-out family trails to tough adventurous routes), tree-climbing, segways, playgrounds for children. All clean and well kept. Highly recommended!
