The Edinburgh Dungeon, Edinburgh

4.1
A fun-packed, theme-driven experience, The Edinburgh Dungeon aims to plunge you into a scary and exciting recreation of the seedier aspects of Scottish history. Theater actors and storytellers complement the dungeon’s deliberately maudlin rides and exhibits through the use of black humor and monologues. Fully interactive, the facility aims to provide a more exciting and fun way to find out about the history of both Edinburgh and Scotland. Inspirock's itinerary builder makes planning a Edinburgh trip simple and quick.

  • Absolutely loved this place! Took my wife here a while back and didn't know what to expect. Growing up in Edinburgh I was pleasantly surprised to know all the characters being talked about at this attraction. The tour just got better and better and all the actors were excellent really engaging and well rehearsed in there parts. The rides included in the tour really made it work for me and gave it all some variety. I would recommend this to everyone. 5 stars from us 👍🏻
  • Big fan of this attraction. Priced very reasonably at £13 per adult. The Mrs jumped at practically everything which was fun to see. The actors in the parts were absolutely brilliant, wasn't a poor act on show. Was educational and funny to boot. Some great one liners! Couldn't recommend this place enough. Great way to spend an hour and a half!
  • This was a blast! Awesome value! Had me laughing and thoroughly enjoyed this. The ride at the very end was fun and the pics they take are great! Don't pass this up and book your tickets online to avoid the wait at the entrance.
  • Very nice attraction. Good actors and the rides were fun. I really enjoyed being used in the story and being able to play a part multiple times. The actors have great humor! The scene is scary and unsuited for little kids. That is the only thing I find annoying, some people take their children even it is not advisable for younger ones as said on their website and the entrance. Still they take their kids and when they cry it really annoys me. But overall a very nice experience, thank you!
  • Nice place, good value and good fun for all the family. Can be scary in places for the faint hearted. All the staff do a great job.
