The Chocolatarium, Edinburgh

Loved this tour! So many tastings and great education and information. Amelia was EXCELLENT! I will now look for chocolate that is fair-trade and direct trade chocolate. The key lime chocolate and Peru chocolate were favorites, and my daughter loved making her own chocolate bar. So wonderful!

Lovely time at the Chocolatarium! We loved Crow, our host, who was knowledgeable, sweet, and very, very fun. This is a perfect pastime for families, couples, dates, singles and really anyone you can think of! It was loads of fun from the jungle, to the factory, to the tasting room and beyond. Look for interesting tastes that ranged from Guinness infused chocolate to grim reaper chili chocolate and everything in between. Bring your chocolate appetite and dive right into the chocolate experience!

Absolutely fantastic. The tour is the perfect length & really interesting, we had no idea what went into making chocolate. It was a really friendly, welcoming atmosphere and we thoroughly enjoyed making our own chocolate bar and trying so many different flavours of chocolate we wouldn't have tried otherwise. Our tour guide Lotta was so lovely & excellent at her job, very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The gift shop at the end is very reasonably priced too. Thank you for a lovely morning.

This was the best tour experience I've ever had and you get so much for your money! We tried so much chocolate! The best part was making our own! Sandy, the tour guide knew his stuff and was absolutely lovely - would absolutely return and try another of the tours

Thoroughly enjoyed our chocolate experience from start to finish. From the discovery of chocolate, to the refinements, varieties, blends and developments, the whole presentation was very interesting. Highlights obviously were the tastings, then hand making your very own unique bar, which they package nicely for you to take away. A fantastic little spot right in the heart of the city, where 90min just whizzes by. Thank you team.
