  • Took the shuttle from the Natl. Gallery out to the Modern. Enjoyed lunch in the cafe. Found the collection to be o.k.....not really anything special. Didn't care much for the video presentations in pa...  more »
  • Love the two galleries. A good balance from late 19th century to contemporary. Some real gems. Gallery 2 has a particularly atmospheric tea room where you can sip your cuppa under Paolozzi's towering ...  more »

  • A real shame as their big brother across the road is great, but this gives the (possibly unfair) impression of being the dumping ground for the exhibits and touring exhibitions that the main National Gallery of Modern Art, and the big city centre galleries, turned down. Unless you have a particular interest in Eduardo Paolozzi, or particularly want to see a temporary exhibition showing here, your time is better spent at one of the other galleries. On the plus side, the building is gorgeous and the cafe and gift shop are almost worth the visit on their own.
  • The gallery offers an incredibly limited selection, featuring peices from only one or two artists at any given time. It is very small and located reasonably far from the city.
  • The second of two galleries within walking distance of each other. Splendid exhibits and free entry. Minibus available from the Scottish National Gallery in the city centre.
  • worth a visit, get a guide they are usually fun and make fun of british people.all in all we had a great tour
  • Very traditional building for a modern art gallery. Saw the Modern Scottish women exhibition. It was very good!
