  • Fab afternoon in Maison de Moggy! We had a booking for 1.15pm and it wasn't too busy. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The cats are just beautiful and seemed very relaxed and comfortable with lots of strangers being there! Plenty places for them to hide away should they want some peace and quiet from the customers. A bit of a mix up with our booking means we are going again for another hour with these gorgeous moggies! However I'm sure we would have booked it again anyway! Would definately recommend to any 'cat ladies' like myself! Loved it.
  • Edinburgh's first cat cafe! I was excited to visit the kitties after perusing the website and learning more about the lovely fluffy residents. Entry is £7 (£8 at weekends) for a timed, prebooked slot of one hour and refreshments are additional. To be honest the cup of tea was low down my list of priorities but there was a good selection. I visited at 6pm which was reasonably quiet, and I'm told the cats are at their sleepiest around lunchtime. You are briefed on the rules on entering - shoes off, hand santizier, no picking the cats up and then you can observe, play with and photograph to your hearts delight! I'm planning to return - and I believe the cafe is looking for a different, more permanent home.
  • I took my cat-loving boyfriend here on Valentine's Day, and we both had a great time - definitely recommend it for a date! We were worried that it would be very crowded and that we wouldn't get enough time with the kitties, but we were lucky and he ended up with a sleeping rag doll kitten in his lap, so we got lots of cuddles. The selection of drinks and cakes was good as well, and the cupcakes were really tasty.
