  • Since I and my family feel very well received, even when we were wrong and we ended up in a private property, residents were super friendly in indicating where was the entrance. It's a huge site, something like an enchanted forest. At the entrance we have the reception, where we explain all about the Park, including gave us a map that facilitated the trip. The art gallery in the psychedelic style and super interesting was our first point, then we go to the Park we referred to something as a thriller; We love. The garden is a must: mountains and grasslands delicately drawn and a beautiful pond. No doubt it's a ride perfect for both couples, travel with friends or family.

  • This is a brilliant place to wander around using the trail map to make sure you don't miss any of the sculptures nestling in the woods and undergrowth. Many of the well known modern sculptures have pi...  more »

  • Absolutely unique and amazing place. Leave plenty of time to fully explore the exhibits on the walk, don't miss anything out as they are all worth seeing.
  • Intriguing sculpture park, with installations that are thought provoking. Lovely café and great place for youngsters to burn off energy in the open space.
  • Amazing fun. Installation art, sculptures, woodlands, and animals mean there's a lot to explore. Friendly staff, a nice cafe, and reasonable prices. Fun day out for adults and children alike.
  • Sculptures and other artworks in the woods and grounds of an estate just outside Edinburgh. Great to wonder around, and fantastic with kids. There's a really good cafe for a sandwiches and soup too.
  • An interesting place to visit by car but beware of the information posted on web site for access by bus, the park is not suitable for public transport access even on a weekday. We arrived ok from Edinburgh on a Friday in August, but the return was a different matter entirely. The driveway from the road to the park is a fair distance if walking and no passing places for cars so not safe for children. On returning we got to the gated exit by 3 minutes after 5pm when the park closes to find the substantial gates were locked. There are no staff at the gate and there is no way out until a car comes along and opens the steel gates by a sensor. We eventually gained access through the gate as a car was leaving and 2 other tourists came through with us. We were all perplexed as there is no bus stop on the Jupiter Artland side of the road, we had asked the driver on the way in and he said to stand at the gates of the park (incorrect). The tourists got a lift by an exiting car, which was scratched by the automatic gates closing on it whilst speaking to the stranded tourists. The First buses are scheduled to stop ( by hailing bus near a road sign 300 yds before the gates!!) every 30 minutes. We waited for 100 minutes from 5.03pm-6.45pm and in that time 2 buses passed in the opposite direction-to Livingston. The road is narrow and cars speed, we got dust and dirt in our eyes as well as very sore feet, it was a horrible wait as we did not know a bus was coming. The First bus drivers gave conflicting information on the times and frequency of the buses and were not helpful at all. We were so glad to get back to Edinburgh, returning 2 hours 15 mins from leaving the park. Fortunately we did not have our young grandchild with us and it was not raining!
