  • Inspirational and thought provoking with the added attraction that there are changing exhibitors, One of the best value for money attractins around Edinburgh
  • Museum of the Year 2016 Finalist. Stunning outdoor sculpture including the amazing land works. Take your time and spend the whole day there, possibly two.
  • Even for a city as cultural as Edinburgh, Jupiter Artland is arguably one of the area’s greatest cultural assets. With artwork peppered across 80 acres of ground, you could easily explore for several hours. The life mounds of Charles Jencks dominate the entrance to the park. Edinburgh residents will be familiar with the similar work outside the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art. Indeed, you must drive through them, picking your way precariously around the associated lakes, before reaching the car park. It is the perfect start to an extraordinary outdoor art experience. Despite the melancholic nature of some of the sculptures, there is something about the outdoor location that makes it irresistible to be playful with them. If you are near the area, I would recommend you take a visit for some great, fun artwork.
  • What a wonderful place! Fantastic art installations, a thoughtful layout through fabulous grounds, and some marvellous food available too. Thoroughly recommend it!
  • Bizarre, but brilliant. There's a really eclectic mix of artwork on display, lots of unusual outdoor sculptures, including some deeply creepy weeping girl statues. Don't blink! What's lovely is that they are all hidden along a looping woodland trail, so you get a nice gentle stroll as well as taking in some art. Wrap up warm unless it's sunny though! The space to walk means it's great for kids too, and they run lots of workshops over the holidays to keep the wee ones entertained. To top it off there's a lovely wee cafe, which does a mean soup. A very nice way to spend a summer's day.
