Enjoy a shopping spree at Jenners, with offers going from reasonably priced, to high-end items. After the shopping tour, treat yourself to a trip to one of the store’s spas or beauty salons. Except providing a variety of shops, the department stores represents a breath of fresh air with the overall architecture, sitting in a centuries old building which kept its original look. • We dropped into the store specifically to eat at the cafe. It was an enjoyable time, albeit crowded. The weather was fantastic and probably a factor in that. We got our food after some confusion about...  read more »

  • This is the "Harrods is Edinburgh". Is not that big or posh but is a fair comparison. The prices are not very high neither. Is well located in the city centre and in one hotspot, it has a nice coffe in the fifth floor but it'll take you a while to discover how to get the fifth floor...
  • Clean & tidy; quality products; accessible for disabled; many lifts in convenient locations; good cafe on 5th floor with good choice of food and prices just right
  • Jenners is an Edinburgh institution - when I didn't live here, no trip to town was complete without a black cab ride and a trip to Jenner's toy department. Now its owned by House of Fraser it's a bit less special- the stock is similar to Frasers further along the street - but this is a much more fun building to visit. You can wander around the balcony areas and look down on the floor below. It us made up of a lot of interlocking rooms so its better for a close browse than quick visit - unless you know exactly where you're headed.
  • Not what it was in the past but a very nice (posh!) department store. If you're visiting Edinburgh, drop in. It's an experience!
  • Famous Edinburgh store. Definitely worth a visit. Be warned though, it is quite expensive. It's kinda like the Hamley's of Edinburgh
