  • Regularly visit with our 1 year old grandson and he loves this place. Great fun with close access to some of the animals. No entrance charge but donations are welcomed.
  • Gorgie farm is a wonderful place to visit with young kids who are too young to handle the bigger attractions like the zoo and safari park. The farm is a working farm run by tremendous volunteers, vari...  read more »

  • I boarded my two rabbits there a couple of weeks ago. When i collected them, I was shocked and disgusted at the condition i found them in! I had specifically asked for me to be caged together during the day and separated at night, when I arrived during the day, they were separated, cold, shaking and one of them didn't even have access to water! Also, the staff assured me that they would be put outside during the day as it was nice weather and they were stuck inside. When i phoned each day to check on them, the staff either were short and impatient with me or didn't even bother to phone me back to let me know if they were okay! I complained to the manager and he wasn't overly apologetic, just kept repeating that they had been properly looked after when i know thats not true! If you want to leave your pets somewhere where they will be properly looked after, NEVER take them there!!!
  • Even though I believe this 'farm' is run by volunteers, the animals (especially the pigs) where in a filthy state. It is an interesting idea to have such a place in town, but it is really in a dirty state.
