  • Fort Kinnaird is a great place to shop, loads of shops, cafes and restaurants. Well planned and an frequent bus service (Lothian Buses 30). To/From Edinburgh - Musselburgh.

  • Well, it's a good area with plenty of shops, but that's about it. Traffic is a nightmare during the weekends, and you probably would have to move your car around if you want to go to a store in the opposite end. Also, toilets are faaaaaar. Not ideal for going with small kids I'd say.
  • Great shopping centre with a good variety of shops. The car park can get busy during peak times but I've always been able to find a parking space. The cinema and eateries mean you can easily plan a whole day out here.
  • Good variety of high street shops. Plenty of places to eat. Cinema too. Good to go for a chill day of shopping outdoors.
  • nice and substantial shops that are quite convenient to access by bike (from innocent railway). note that I only managed to find 3 bicycle parking spaces near mothercare after a brief look around.
  • A lot of shops, restaurants and the cinema. Good place for Sunday evening or midweek shopping trip as they're opened till late.
