  • We are quite out of town, closer to the three bridges leading to the Castle ... maybe even for this the care of this complex (referring not only to the village, but the beach, the Roman ruins, the promenade, to the island and all the other facilities that are part of This neighborhood) leaves a little to be desired! Certainly the most outstanding is the crossing of the barrier is the achievement of the island (the schedule) ... Remains anyway an interesting point if you want to explore something different than the usual monuments ... A peaceful and relaxing place!

  • Cramond Village, 5 miles from Cramond and the Beach (8 km) North of Edinburgh. Cramond is one of the earliest known human residence in Scotland. Once the name of the Roman Fort of Alaterva here. In the Middle Ages it was a fishing village, which over the years has grown dynamically, 19. century is a suburb of Edinburgh. If you walk in Edinburgh, you might one day bring even colder times of the year. (True, in this case, you might want to dress well because it takes away the cold winds crossing soon the people discouraged) A delightful seafront promenade, you can walk around for hours, ride a bike, watch how the sea surges, and you can collect shells, stones. Here the river flows into the sea the Almond in Cramond, and also on the island, which has a number of tidal islands of Scotland. During low tide, you can walk around the island, but should follow the vízállást, because it is easy to fall into the careless 5-6 hours hiking. Cramond, Edinburgh within walking distance from the Centre (approx. 1.5 hours walking the Waverly pályaudvaról) but if you do prefer the coastal walk from tartogatnátok, you should consider taking a bus is. Starting from the downtown bus almost time flies, because the man belefeledkezik the old houses, charming streets just off. Have a separate disorder, but I enjoyed the Cramond Beach is over the Edinburgh airport within France.
