(4.6/5 based on 420+ reviews on the web)
Murrayfield Stadium is a sports stadium located in the west end of Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland. Its all-seater capacity was recently reduced from 67,800 to 67,144 to incorporate the largest permanent "big screens" in the country, though it remains the largest stadium in Scotland and the 6th largest in the United Kingdom. The stadium is the home of the Scottish Rugby Union, and is primarily used as a venue for rugby union and hosts most of Scotland's home test matches, the Scottish Hydro Electric Cup final, as well as Pro12 and Heineken Cup matches.Although mainly a rugby union stadium, Murrayfield has in the past hosted American football, rugby league and association football matches and music concerts. One of the most notable of the latter was the Edinburgh 50,000 - The Final Push concert as part of Live 8.LocationMurrayfield is located near to Murrayfield Ice Rink, Murrayfield Curling Rink, and close to Edinburgh Zoo. It is named after the area of Edinburgh it is located in, Murrayfield.

  • The tour guide Sergio was very knowledgeable and had a lovely sense of humour as well. This tour is well worth doing.
  • Was here to give a business presentation, found the hospitality, food and staff excellent. Facilities were good, easy to find, good parking, great atmosphere!
  • A great tour of a world class stadium. Max was very knowledgeable and was great to listen to. I'm not a big rugby fan but enjoyed it and the place is huge!

  • Went here for the rugby atmosphere before and after the game was phenomenal can't wait to return for the next match on the 19th November for the next game quite hard to find a place to park and trying to get on site parking is a nightmare as it seems to book out really quickly they need to make more spaces to accommodate fans other than that it's a great place
  • Went to play there during the rugby clinic organised by the Thebans. Great club and pitches. Haven't got the chance to visit the actual stadium but hopefully I will next time.
  • Visited here for a conference - all clean and decent facilities but nothing fancy, you're aware you're in the events space of a sports stadium and no mistaking it!
  • Entertaining behind the scenes tours given by passionate guides. It's Scotland's biggest stadium a place of agony and exctasy memory's and home to Scotland since 1925.
  • Great stadium and brilliant atmosphere for rugby internationals.
