  • Lovely well equipped park and gardens. Took an evening picnic here with adult friends. Although the car parks were busy, the place is so large it didn't feel over crowded and there are plenty of play areas for children with interesting and unusual things to do. Lovely park in attractive setting.
  • Lovely little place to walk around (no cycling allowed) takes about an hour to get around it. Loads of places to have picnics and a play area for kids. Cafe is good. Car park is a little on the small side.
  • Great for younger kids, runners, dog walkers and bird watchers. Great play area / sandpit / water play. Its also got a woodland adventure area with tunnels, a balance plank and a big slide. When you're finished there's a cafe and small soft play too. Please be aware, you are not allowed to cycle around the lake. Also it gets muddy in places after bad weather, so take wellies or decent walking shoes!
  • This is a fabulous country park very popular with dog walkers. The head ranger is very enthusiastic and if you fancy helping out here get a few friends together, contact the ranger and, like us, you'll have a fantastic day . There's a good cafe on site serving great good and drink.
  • A nice walk round the resivoir facilities include Caff√®, toilets, play area for children in sand and a wooded area with a slide and tunnels in great for children
