  • Beautifully presented and interesting museum made for a fascinating afternoon. All the displays were well written and easy to read with a good mix of audio visual, objects and explanation. Recommended

  • Amazing visit. This community run museum is a must visit. The staff young and old are volunteers, so friendly and knowledgeable and take pride, rightly so, in this project.

  • Didn't even realize that it was such a claim to fame for the area, amazing learning experience, to realize what some people went through in a place that you wouldn't even associate with such a thing.....  more

  • This museum is small but beautifully curated. Fascinating history with plenty of listening posts and interactive activities. Because of that it will suit a wide range of ages. Difficult to imagine the size and scale of the munitions factory during its heyday. And the timescale in which it was built. It's well worth taking the time to listen to the stories. A lot are very moving. Stories of evacuees and people who worked in the factory. The museum is also spotlessly clean and very well maintained. If you're worried about viruses I don't think they would stand a chance.
  • Great experience. Very informative and I had no clue about what was even there back wartime. Friendly staff. Had lunch in the Cordite Canteen. It was lovely. Homemade wares and cakes for after.
  • An excellent museum. So well set out. Very knowledgeable staff. Good value.
  • This was my husband's choice. Really interesting place which focuses on the munitions factory built in the first world war. Also some historical focus on 2nd world and the first nuclear power station in Scotland Well worth a visit and staff lovely. Coffee and ice creams for sale
  • Very impressive place, run by volunteers. Need a full day to see everything. Very informative and attractive
