  • Free parking and plenty of woodland walks. Nice views across the Mersey estuary. Free visitors centre with bird hide. Free toilets. A couple of nice café/snack bar. Two good pubs. The park is popular with motor bikers on summer Sundays which makes interesting viewing of the bikes. The park is family and dog friendly.
  • Lovely place to have free on our doorstep. Lots of lovely walks, rangers lodge and two pubs
  • Great place to walk with dogs and children, picnic area and big field so everyone can have a good run around. Great for children exploring too, making dens etc.
  • A great day out for the family. Or even just taking the dog on a nice walk. Even on sunny days the walk is covered by the canopy of the trees. Also has a dog free zone for picnic. Two pubs are just around the corner and a lot of parking.
  • The woods are great as they are completely family and dog friendly. It's a great place to walk the dog or have a stroll through the forest.
