  • Situated on a hill just west of the RNLI Museum is this wonderful monument steeped in history. Unfortunately it is rarely open to the public nowadays due to it's condition, but it's still worth a visi...  more »
  • There's nothing to do there. Just a good view with heavy wind. Morning and afternoon and evening are different views.  more »

  • It's the best view Sumner or winter after good seaside walk. And coffee is good too. Always snacks available and generally a nice place to spend an hour
  • Good views of sea an a beachy head loads going on in summer time
  • Interesting but not terribly exciting. Once you have seen it it's lost its mystery.
  • Free to enter and an interesting place to visit - I'd always wanted to see inside one. Great view from the top and friendly, helpful guides. It's not somewhere you could spend hours but as part of a walk along the front well worth doing, and all for just a donation.
  • Always something going on. A good place to take the dog for a walk or let the kids let off steam
