Explore Scotland's rich countryside traditions at National Museum of Rural Life, a complex documenting farming, animal husbandry, and development throughout the area's long history. • Went here last week with my 11 year old granddaughter to visit the farm as she is interested in animals .unfortunately to visit the farm you need to purchase tickets for the museum which is interesting to me and most men and boys . But not young girls . Also stopped at the cafĂ© which was 5 stars nice staff and food.and the farm experience was fantastic especially the new calf shorster.
  • Disapointing for young children. Children aged 8 and up might enjoy it but my 5 year olds were bored.
  • I bring my kids here regularly and we all enjoy it so much, a brilliant family day out plenty to see and do and a beautiful open space to enjoy. The staff are wonderful as well, sooo enthusiastic, friendly and lovely to the children. Worth a visit!
  • Foods overcooked and expensive for what we had. Lots of tractors and farm machinery if if that's your thing
  • SO MANY OLD TRACTORS. Also lots of cute baby animals to pet. Top notch.
