  • As with any FSC residential stay - you are more than well fed (probably gain so much weight!) and watered, as well as receiving great teaching in fantastic locations. I recently attended a weekend dormouse course. Flatford Mill is characterful, quaint and set in a stunning place - the morning mist on the water and chirruping of birds is lovely. Very well maintained. Classrooms are basic but emphasis is on tuition rather than housing the latest tech. Facilities are great, staff are more than friendly and helpful. Cake delivered during your lessons was spot on... Enjoyed every minute. What a great place!
  • Good place to vist with some good walks. In the summer they put on special days for the children and the RSPB do events for the children during some of the other school holidays. Rowing boats can be hired too.
  • Rent a boat here for £8 am hour. Great place to bring visitors to show a bit of Suffolk.
  • A serene place on a sunny day; the site of the Hay Wain still looks exactly the same as the picture; can go boating up and down the Stour river.
  • It's a good place to know well about John Constable and his very famous arts. Before I came here, I didn't know that ''Wivenhoe Park' is one of his great work. It's a perfect place for walking dogs, and you should not miss the rowing boat acroos the lovely river.
