  • High Lodge is such a great day out with the family, load your bikes up and go for trek through various difficulty rides from family to advanced treks. You can also hire bikes there if needed. The kids play area is excellent and has loads of activities to do in the beautiful surroundings of the forest to enjoy, with picnic areas and a cafe to eat.
  • A great place to walk your dogs and see wild life
  • We love High Lodge! Great playgrounds and great trails! Bring an extra layer- it always feels a few degrees cooler with all those trees around.
  • Riding on the Segway was great fun. I would recommend it and would like to do it again. Expensive car parking.
  • Well equipped and maintained site. Plenty of activities to keep all entertained. Great MTB trails catering for most levels, good wooden play areas and wildlife trails for the children and a reasonably priced Café to boot. At first glance the car parking cost can seem at but steep but when you consider what you get for your day out it really is good value. Been to the odd concert here too. Makes for an interesting venue.
