  • Beautiful historic site with visiting. Surrounded by countryside and close to the River Swale, it's a nice place to have a walk out to if you're in Richmond.
  • Beautiful, serene, well kept. A proud representation of what the Richmond area had to offer.
  • Great place for kids to explore. Plenty of information stands telling you about how life was and what the abbey looked like. Small car park (free). Handy for walking to Richmond along the old railway line. Take a picnic!
  • A great free attraction but plan up to 2 hrs... Theres not that much to fill a whole morning.
  • Beautiful area, very educational and incredibly fun to explore. Highly recommend a visit, it's free.
