  • Not much to see here but the info boards here, the adjacent Durrington Walls and along the route to Stonehenge make an interesting (and imo much better) healthy alternative to the 'money grabbing - fi...  more »
  • This is only worth doing if you live within 15 minutes (if so you will already have visited) or come a long distance to see Stonehenge and have 15 minutes to kill. It genuinely only takes 15minutes to...  more »
  • Much less impressive than its cousin in stone but an archaeological team is currently conducting excavations nearby, they are open to the public and volunteers are great!

  • I took my 6 year old. Well maintained, well sign posted, not too busy versus the stone version close by.
  • It will be good idea to plan to visit Stonehenge and Woodhenge on one go. Woodhenge is definitely less impressive. Some time ago wooden circles have been replaced with the concrete ones. The place doesn't have this unique, ancient atmosphere.
  • Unusual little place. Great views and worth walking upto the best stone. Woodhenge represents what used to be there...but a lot shorter.
  • Granted it's not as impressive as stonehenge but it's part of our heritage none the less and it's free. P.s don't forget durrington walls across the road
  • As great as it is how much more impressive would it be if the posts were re erected to the original hight, still worth 5 stars.
