  • In the University café next door can be seen outside sitting beautifully the old buildings, the Cathedral and the Castle, around the Palace Green. Definitely worth a visit. Really impressive – especially that all buildings be used also today still active!

  • The surrounding landscape is quite good, don't have a lot of people like to take a walk. The whole atmosphere of the city, quiet, great in Durham.

  • There is an exhibition here about the battle of the somme. Not sure which is the worse affront to humanity......the senseless waste of millions of lives or the staggeringly high prices in the cafe.
  • Not much in slightly dissapointed
  • Not a lot in here for Durham, disappointed.
