  • I love this place. Nature - the river, forest, rocks and historical architecture. Nice place for the family day
  • Stunning just stunning. A must to visit . Fantastic scenic walks along the river, lots of wildlife, a quaint coffee shop and a true hidden gem
  • A hidden gem just outside of Durham City. The Priory is a fantastic place to visit on a summer's day. The ruins are great to explore and there is a network of footpaths that run along the river and through nearby woods. The is a reasonably priced cafe, and nearby parking and caravan park.
  • Beautiful abbey with stunning scenery. Ample parking and little on site shop. Be aware it is a pay upon exit attraction.
  • Beautiful ruins of the abbey with many rooms to look in and great woodland walk.
