  • The priory is small but quite impressive. However, the view of the river from the bridge is breathtaking. The walk along the riverbank is enjoyable and has plenty of space for smaller children to run around. There is also a couple of places where you can play next to the river, almost like a beach. Only wish the walk was longer. Access is via a private road and parking costs £3. There are toilets and a small shop selling ice creams and ice lollies. There are also a few picnic tables. Worth visiting.
  • This gets a FIVE star cos, apart from the £3 parking fee, it was FREE to go in. It is situated alongside a river, don't ask me which one, and you can cross a bridge and enjoy a riverside walk. There's a lovely little cafe there and picnic tables. The priory was quite large and I would have liked information about each room or to have followed a route or a bit of history on the place but hey, it's FREE. What did I expect for nothing? We spent easily 45 minutes just ambling around and getting lost. We couldn't find our way out, haha. It's well worth a visit.
  • Stayed a little late in the season but the pitches were well maintained and the site spotlessly clean. The welcome was very warm and staff very friendly. Couldn't fault anything.
  • Very good but car park is tricky as you need £3. Opening hours are also tricky. Beautiful woodland and river. Lots of steps and mildly rough ground.
  • Really great place for the family dog friendly and lovely woodland walks plenty for the kids to play explore and blow off some steam the priory itself is surprisingly big plenty of places to explore still a lot of it standing. Whole family loved it.
