  • Visited Durham University Botanic Garden in October and had a great couple of hours visiting. It is well set out and well worth the time to visit.

  • Beatiful location. Good value and plenty to see.
  • An absolute hidden gem, beautiful in all seasons. So much to see, and big enough to get a bit lost in if you want somewhere calm and quiet. Great for picnics, summer walks and afternoon tea. Car parking is available and the top gardens are wheelchair accessible. The greenhouses are a magical little world, great for families (or if like me you just really like cacti and giant water lilies)
  • We have visited each Easter for the famous chick hunt. The gardens are extensive and varied offering a safe environment to explore.
  • Nice gardens with a café
  • Nice gardens with a decent cafe and shop.
