  • It's certainly worth a good look here. There is a lot of choice, everything from meat, fruit and vegetables to knitwear and more. Certainly cheaper than many of the shops nearby.  more »

  • The market is a great place to explore and stock up on quality food whilst supporting the smaller independent shops, the market will continue to thrive if we continue to visit!  more »

  • Market place in Durham has wide varieties of local produce. From food, bakery items, clothing to gifts. Prefer to buy the local works than other major Supermarkets around.
  • A wonderful old market hall situated off the main market place in Durham City. Full of character and characters. Large variety of stall selling a wide range of goods. There is a cafe upstairs. The market is well worth a visit!
  • Tucked away down two doorways off the main market square, the indoor market always feels like a bit of a secret! It's got some unusual stalls, like an armourer and a spice merchant, a good haberdashery stall, fishmongers, butchers, bakers and a wide selection of miscellaneous others. And a cafe! Well worth half an hour to explore and find some bargains.
  • Decent market. Plenty of stalls. Good electrics and general stall.
  • Great market, lots of different (and some quirky) stalls.
